Executive Summary

Velmyrat has more than 20 years of professional experience in audit and assurance of leading Turkmen and international companies. He supervised numbers of projects in conducting audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with local and International Financial Reporting Standards at the biggest Turkmen companies, banks, monitored compliance of special auditors procedures, services, consulting projects. He has outstanding experience in managing, controlling, and planning an audit process and advisory services which comply with IFRS.

During 2007-2014 he gained managing experience in Supreme Control Chamber of Turkmenistan. He has been awarded the Qualification, which let authorize the holder, to perform auditing activities in Turkmenistan by Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan. He is currently working as a General director and partner at BDO Turkmenistan.
